Maximizing an Important Natural Mechanism for Pain Relief
PainPause consists of an adhesive patch that contains an array of tiny hairlike Micro-Points with cantilever springs. When the patch is applied to the skin, the Micro-Points gently penetrate just below the surface where the pain inhibiting receptors are. The springs in the array of Micro-Points create mechanical forces on them, targeting the receptors in the skin. This powerfully activates them which transmits impulses to nerves that shut down pain signals at the level of the spinal cord and prevent them from reaching the brain.
