MEET THE FOUNDER
I am a physician and biomedical entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in developing innovative healthcare products to address unmet medical needs.
I have founded and led several successful companies including two that were NASDAQ-listed.
I graduated from Stanford University and Yale Medical School and completed my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah and a Medical Oncology Fellowship at Stanford Medical School. I am also a former member of the faculty at the University of Washington and previously served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Washington.
I have experienced chronic back pain and sciatica since I was in my twenties. I have tried many different treatments ranging from medications to physical therapy to steroid injections to surgery; none have worked well. This led me to explore the possibility of developing a product to treat acute and chronic pain. After several years of work and clinical evaluation, the product PainPause based on these efforts is now on the market.
I have been successfully using it for the past few years, and my pain has been significantly reduced, and I often have no pain. I have been enjoying life again including outdoor activities, simply sitting and reading, and walking my dog without the fear of nagging pain.
I have heard from many others who have had similar experiences using PainPause to treat back pain, arthritis, neck pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, and many other painful musculoskeletal conditions. As a physician, I find it extremely rewarding to be able to help others like me who are suffering from pain to find relief and enjoy a healthier and more active life.
